What happens if Miles detects a crash?

Automatic Crash Response is included with the Miles Guard Membership. The moment Miles detects a serious crash, two things happen at once: everyone on the account gets a mobile notification with the vehicle's location, and Miles sends a signal to the 24/7 monitoring center.

A specialist then calls to check on the driver, contacting the vehicle's assigned primary driver first, then working through the other account contacts until someone answers. If help is needed, or if nobody can be reached, the specialist requests local first responders and gives them the location and vehicle details.

Crash detection runs on the Plug's own sensors, GPS, and cellular connection, so it works even when there's no phone in the car.
