What Notifications can I receive?
Notifications are set per person and per vehicle, so each driver chooses exactly what they want to see.
- Arrivals and departures: when a vehicle reaches or leaves a saved Place
- Trip started / Trip ended: when a vehicle starts or ends a trip
- Top speed: when a vehicle goes over 80 mph
- Over the speed limit: 5, 10, 15 or 20 mph over the posted limit for more than 10 seconds
- Low fuel: at a tank percentage you choose
- Check engine: when Miles detects the light is on
- Leaves the home area: at a distance you set
- Curfew: driving after a set time (9, 10, 11 PM or midnight)
- New Place: all account members are notified when a new place is created
- Crash: if Miles detects an accident. These always come through, whatever your other settings.
- Roadside: when someone requests roadside help. These always come through too.
To pause everything, use your phone's Focus or Do Not Disturb settings.
To turn on / off or customize your Notifications:
- Go to Account tab in the bottom navigation bar
- Tap Notifications (under Preferences section)
- Select the vehicle
- Customize which notifications to receive
